She also obtained Certificates in Elementary German and Elementary French. She has sung with Opera Idaho, Gemma Arts Music, and Boise State Opera Theatre. Anthea has performed the roles of Ma Moss in The Tender Land (Aaron Copland) and Stephanie in Speed Dating Tonight! (Michael Ching) with Boise State Opera Theatre as well as The Novice in Suor Angelica (Giacomo Puccini) with Opera Idaho. Concert solos include Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D, RV 589 with the First Presbyterian Chancel Choir in December 2023 and Felix Mendelssohn’s song cycle Op. 96, Drei Geistliche Lieder with the Boise State Meistersingers in March 2023. She performed as an Emerging Artist for the Lyric Opera of Orange County in June 2025, performing the role of Public Opinion in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld. She also appeared in a public masterclass led by Joel Balzun as well as the “Death by Aria” Concert. Additionally, she has been a choral scholar and section leader in churches across the Treasure Valley and Orange County, including the Grace Anglican Church of Boise, First Presbyterian Church of Boise, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church of Boise, and St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Dana Point, California, and the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano in California. She has experience cantoring Masses, weddings, baptisms, and funerals, both in Spanish and in English. In the summer of 2024, Anthea completed her first Young Artist Program, singing in the Opera Studio of the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. During this six-week program, she studied under the head of the Dutch International Opera Academy, Paul McNamara. Anthea received the Top Ten Scholar Award, the highest award given to ten graduating students at Boise State University. She was selected after being evaluated on her academic performance, excellence in experiential learning, and involvement in campus and community groups.
